ISA has entered into a matching contribution agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) to fund increased education and adoption of climate-smart practices that will help increase carbon sequestration and reduce greenhouse gases.
On Monday, the USDA appointed five new farmer-leaders, including ISA District 2 Director Steve Pitstick, and reappointed 12 leaders to the United Soybean Board (USB). These U.S. soybean farmers, representing 16 states, will be officially sworn in at the USB December Meeting on Dec. 11.
